MEGHAN HANSON
Meghan Hanson is an architect and artist creating within the intermountain west and sharing time between the Bitterroot Valley of Montana & Teton Valley Idaho. In 2008 she started Natural Dwellings Architecture to design custom residential homes with a focus on energy efficiency, sense of place, and building science. She has closely collaborated with Damian, Chris, and Lucas for years and helped create Hone Architects & Builders, where she continues to be a creative collaborator, along with her work through Natural Dwellings in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), has worked on several LEED certified projects, and because a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) in 2012. She is a former member of the Driggs (ID) City Design Review Committee, Stevensville (MT) Planning & Zoning board, and is currently a board member of the Bitter Root Land Trust. Meg lives in a Passive House in western Montana and can often be found scheming up travel plans, running around the country, or foraging in the Bitterroot and Teton mountains, usually with sketch book in hand.
