Damian Mast moved to Missoula from Western Washington in 1995 to ski, climb and attend college. He started working as a carpenter in 1999 and over the next 12 years progressed from framer to detail-obsessed carpenter to general contractor. Growing up in the age of climate change, Damian has always been interested in energy efficient building and has executed projects using a wide array of methods. In 2013 Damian partnered with Chris Chitty, creating a general contracting firm that built on their shared love of good design and building science. Damian still loves to ski, climb and travel with his Son Wolfgang.
