SUNSET BENCH PASSIVE HOUSE
Our friend and collaborator Meghan Hanson designed this house for herself and her partner. Originally envisioned as a guest and event space it morphed into their full-time residence. The goal from the start was to design and build the house to PHIUS passive house standards and our team succeeded in creating the first PHIUS certified passive house in Montana. This project also includes two historic grain silos, one converted into an outdoor kitchen and one into a bath house. Features: Certified passive house, concrete floors, custom steel stairs, Zola European windows, Custom Walnut doors and cabinetry, outdoor kitchen, standing seam roofing, cypress siding.
